(Senior) Software Engineer/Developer
ATMOS International Limited is a highly successful engineering software and service supplier to the blue chip companies in the oil, gas, aviation, water and chemical industries. Our state-of-art software includes statistical pipeline leak detection, hydraulic simulation, pig tracking, batch tracking, optimization, tank farm management and gas management systems.
Due to the continuous growth and expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for several motivated individuals in software development. Working in a young, dynamic and fast growing technology company, this role may suit an experienced developer or a bright graduate looking for dynamic opportunities with a steep learning curve in engineering software.
The Software Engineer will be involved in the whole life cycle of software development projects and will be responsible for:
- Interfacing with internal and external clients to identify their application requirements
- Developing pipeline integrity management software
- Performing software testing and release management
- Providing documentation and training.
The key skills required include:
- Strong ability in spoken and written English
- Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or physics
- Indepth experience with VB.Net or C#
- Experience with web services and ASP.NET
- Net reflection and remoting
- Exposure to WCF, WPF and dotnet 3.0
- Tiered architecture
- XML, ADO.net and SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
- Agile/Lean or Scrum experience
- Source control systems
- Object orientated design and UML 2.0 diagramming
- Experience with virtual environments (VMware)
- Knowledge of Networking
It is not necessary but an advantage if you have experience in pipeline/process simulation, hydraulic analysis, pipeline engineering or instrumentation/control system.
